f*ck, well they'd be coming on the next bike I'm getting so do you think filing the clamping bolt down so it gave way first would be a good idea? I don't actually have the brakes to see if this would work it was just a thought. safe to say you're a specialized fan anyway! those as are all sweet bikes

the brakes still holding up good? seen and heard loads of cases of the clamp snapping off the main lever body.

yeah man, got the xt brakes and rotors as well and a hope pro 2 evo at the back with an mtx29 with dents nearly under the bead and you can actually see the flatspot right at the back of the wheel haha, it was pretty bent then to, got it straightish now. ive found out how light i can go with rims now anyway. haha

aaah, cheers, they look far less hideous when theyre being used than they do when theyre in pics actually trying to sell them! yeah i knew they were clips cos there was drama from the media about that haha.

just the colour of it i think, cant really see brendans link as well but it's the same. my attention was drawn to the gnarly pins on brendans bike though! you can tell they'd tear you to pieces from miles off! haha

23-25psi so i might as well have been i guess haha. the cracked parts just seemed to push into each other so i think that was all that held it together. i found the cracks on saturday night and just kept riding it kinda carefully

this is what i raced on! its got loads of other cracks as well that didnt go right around, think the count was 13 haha

well i'd be riding in scotland and they're for the winter so that sounds good, i'd be going for triple nano's anyway. you'd recommend them for something between a dry tyre and a spike then? cheers

the knocked down visor just adds to the illusion that i had fallen off. when obviously i NEVER fall off especially in race runs

just before the jump where you see loads of scrub shots on a little jump, its close to the woods though yeh

it was fairly wet yeh, this is the bit where i cracked my 40's on my first run on saturday, did the line to the right where you jump of the rock into the corner and my front wheel hit into a rock on the landing sending me over the bars
